Lawn Tennis Club

ELTC was formed in 1907 and amalgamated with Sunnyside Tennis Club in 1975 which has enabled the site to move forward with court and club development over past years. True to form for most modern day clubs we no longer have grass courts. Instead we have six superb all weather courts that give us all year play in just about any weather condition. Three of our courts are floodlight and members are welcome to prebook sessions that can be used up until 9.30pm seven days a week.

Club Tennis 
 
General club play where members mix in is available on Wednesday Evening and Sunday afternoon. Other playing rota's are also run to supplement these times for all standards of play. All other playing times are very liberal and you will find the club available to you at most times. New balls are provided free of charge on Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Winter League Tennis

 
The club enters three Men’s, three Ladies into the Middlesex doubles league each year. A further Men’s team also play in the weekend Hertfordshire Club league. The club also supports a veteran team. During the winter the club also enters two Men's and Ladies teams in the Middlesex floodlight league.

Committee

Your committee meets once a month and the club AGM is held in December. If you wish to offer any help or assistance with general club duties this would be most welcome as clubs like ours are run purely on a voluntary basis. Please contact a committee member if you would like to offer any help or wish to air a view, we would be very pleased to hear from you. The committee is elected by the membership at the AGM and the current serving  members are:
